Hi People! Here it's some useful material, enjoy!

What is a prepositional phrase? A prepositional phrase begins with
a preposition and ends with a noun, pronoun, gerund, or clause, the "object" of the preposition.
The object of the preposition can have one or more modifiers to describe it, as in the example; "Under the warm pink carpet".
But... What is the function of a prepositional phrase in a sentence?
A prepositional phrase will function as an adjective or as an adverb.  As an adjective, the prepositional phrase will answer the question Which one?
"The cat sleeping under the table's living room is black".
Which cat is sleeping? The one under the table's livingroom.
As an adverb, the prepositional phrase will answer questions such as How? Where? or When?
"Before his date, John had an accident at work".
When did John has his accident? Before his date.
Where did John has his accident? At work.
